Using Zoom

As an instructor at McGill University, you are assigned a Zoom license for the duration of your contract.

Prepare to Teach with Zoom

1. Before the start of your class
   • Review the Zoom Teaching Checklist
   • Create a Zoom link in myCourses
   • Configure the default settings to record automatically, mute participants, and turn cameras off
2. During class
   • If you are recording your class, be sure to inform students beforehand 
3. After each class
   • Check if recorded Zoom classes are uploaded to myCourses
   • Review the class attendance Zoom report
