Digital Materials

In an effort to be as sustainable as possible and lower costs for students, please post digital resources on myCourses whenever possible in lieu of printed materials.

Check for Copyright

All instructors are responsible for adhering to copyright laws and ensuring that their material has been checked for copyright through the library.

Textbook Requests

Textbook requests are handled by the McGill Bookstore. The Bookstore can also assist you with ordering course packs if you cannot find what you are looking for through the McGill Library.

When are assigned to teach a class, you will need to register for Verba (requisition management system) as an instructor and fill out the Textbook Request FormIf no textbook is required, you still need to complete the form and indicate “no textbook required.”

To ensure availability for students, you must request textbooks as soon as you can before the start of the term.
