From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

FAMIS

Facilities and Space Management System (FAMIS) is McGill’s facilities management system. It is used for logging maintenance service requests. It is integrated with McGill’s Banner system for both human resources and financials.

Authorized users may access FAMIS to create service requests with maintenance & operations, monitor progress and track the billing processes.

Important:

  • As of June 15, 2022, you must sign into FAMIS via a secure “containment” site that provides the required browser functionality.
  • As of February 1, 2023, all space data, including floor plans, architectural plans, and other types of documents related to construction and renovation projects, are available to authorized users in eSpace.

When accessing FAMIS from outside the McGill campus network, you will first need to first connect to the VPN.

Access FAMIS

Go to instructions on how to use FAMIS in the new containment environment.
