Outreach Session: CIHR Project Grant

Monday, January 31, 2022 10:00to12:00

The purpose of Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)’s Project Grant is to support a diverse portfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation projects (or programs of research) at any stage, from discovery to application, including commercialization; promote relevant collaborations across disciplines, professions, and sectors; and contribute to the creation and use of health-related knowledge.

Researchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming CIHR Project Grant competition are encouraged to attend this information session, which will include:

  • A presentation about the objectives and application requirements of the CIHR Project Grant by Katarina Stojkovic, Grants and Agreements Officer, OSR;
  • A presentation on tips and best practices by Dr. Jean-François Cloutier, Professor, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery and previous successful Project Grant applicant and peer reviewer;
  • A question and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process.

    Those who are unable to attend or who wish to provide their questions in advance are invited to send their inquiries to katarina.stojkovic [at] mcgill.ca (Katarina Stojkovic) in advance so that they may be covered during the session.

Registration is now closed. Please contact Kathleen Therrien at kathleen.therrien [at] mcgill.ca if you would like to attend.
