SSHRC Connection Grants Program for the Faculty of Arts

 

*Please note that this session is primarily targeted to researchers from the Faculty of Arts, however potential applicants from other faculties are also welcome to attend*

The Office of Sponsored Research is pleased to invite potential applicants to an information session on the SSHRC Connection Grants program. Connection Grants support events and outreach activities geared toward short-term, targeted knowledge mobilization initiatives, and this session is intended to assist researchers seeking funding for activities that may serve as catalysts for future research projects and collaborative work.

 

This information session will provide potential applicants with an overview of the program guidelines and types of projects supported, as well as advice on the application process, mandatory co-funding and internal requirements. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Important: Please note that applicants should submit their application by the deadline corresponding to the decision date most appropriate to their project’s needs, keeping in mind that SSHRC cannot award a grant retroactively for an event or outreach activity that has taken place prior to the final funding decision.
