The McGill First Year Office offers a Montreal Essentials resource to help you, including a guide about the cost of living in Montréal.

If you are new to Québec or Canada, there is a Learning about Québec guide available from Immigration Québec.

Clerkship

New 3rd year Integrated Clerkship opportunities are currently being developed in the local area and throughout the RUISSS McGill territory. Clinical placements are at bilingual or francophone sites. Students should be prepared to do some commuting for required rotations and to benefit from the wide range of experiences at these excellent clinical sites.  Please consult the Distributed Medical Education site for information. You are encouraged to speak to the current medicine students when you are looking at where to live while studying at McGill.
