Conditions of Admission & Accepting Your Offer


Friendly reminder: All students admitted into the program must submit official transcripts from all universities listed in the Applicant Portal. Please ensure that your final transcript reads that your bachelor’s degree has been conferred before ordering it. 

Confirming an Offer of Admission

Confirmation of your acceptance shall be considered complete when (a) our Office has received a signed copy of the Conditions of Admission document uploaded via the Applicant Portal (retain the original); and (b) you have accepted the offer and paid the deposit in the Applicant Portal.  

This deposit is applicable against tuition fees and is non-refundable. The Office reserves the right to withdraw this offer if you have not completed these steps by the relevant deadline.  

NOTE: Students admitted to the MDCM program from Med-P are not required to pay the deposit.

Registration in Minerva for current McGill students

Current McGill students may encounter difficulties when attempting to accept the offer via the Applicant Portal, if:

  1. They are enrolled in a current graduate studies program this winter (irrespective of whether they are completing the degree this term or not). If you are experiencing this problem, please contact us: admissions.med [at] mcgill.ca and we will work with Enrolment Services on your behalf to inform you of how you can accept the offer.
  2. Students who need to be enrolled simultaneously in a graduate studies program to finish their thesis in the Fall term, must refer to the Concurrent Registration policy on the UGME website: https://www.mcgill.ca/ugme/policies-procedures/ugme-registration-policy and submit the completed form to UGME: concurrent_program_registration_form_en.pdf (mcgill.ca)
