General Requirements

Applicants to all medical programs must meet these general requirements prior to submitting an application. Additional or alternate requirements may be presented depending on the applicant category. Qualified international medical graduates (IMG) seeking special admission to MDCM should consult the MDCM for IMG page for the special requirements and conditions of admission applicable to them. Candidates previously enrolled in postgraduate medical education (residency programs) in Quebec, other Canadian provinces, or the United States are not eligible for admission to the MDCM program. Candidates holding a completed undergraduate medical degree from an institution in Quebec, other Canadian provinces, or the United States are not eligible for admission to the MDCM program.

A finding of misconduct in the application process may lead to a refusal or, if an offer of admission has already been extended, a withdrawal of the offer at the sole discretion of the University.

N.B.Consult the language policy that applies to the Montreal and Outaouais campuses. All applicants may submit an application in French or English.
