Career Fairs

Career fairs at McGill are organized by a variety of groups across campus, including the Career Planning Service (CaPS), faculty-specific career offices, academic departments, and student associations. These events offer students excellent opportunities to connect with employers across a wide range of industries and sectors.

Some fairs are open to all McGill students, while others are tailored to specific faculties, programs, or career interests. Be sure to check individual event details for eligibility and registration information.

Important info for Students!

Participation in career fairs is free. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

Registration fees and deadlines listed below apply only to employers.


Jaclyn Fisher Career Day (Desautels Faculty of Management) - September 19, 2025

Date: September 19, 2025

Event Description:

Students can connect with prospective employers and learn about available internships, full-time opportunities and develop contacts to enhance job searches. Recent alumni from the Desautels Faculty of Management (BCom, MBA, MMA, MMF, MMR) are also invited to participate.

  • Morning (10am to 1pm): restricted to upper-year students at the Desautels Faculty of Management (BCom U2+, MBA, MMA, MMF, MMR)
  • Afternoon (1pm to 3pm): open to ALL current McGill students (including U0/U1 Desautels students) from all faculties

Please be aware that because of limited space, each registration must undergo review and approval by the organizing committee. However, we regret to inform you that not all registrations can be approved. Additionally, each approved exhibitor may only have up to two representatives.

McGill Graduate and Professional Schools Fair (SUS/AUS) - November 5, 2025

Date: Wednesday, November 5, 2024
Time: 10am-3:30pm EST
Location: McGill University Centre, Room 301 (SSMU Ballroom)
3480 McTavish Street, Montréal QC, H3A 0E7

Event Description:

The McGill Graduate and Professional Schools Fair hosts programs in the sciences, humanities, law, medicine, public policy, engineering, management, education, and more. Jointly organized by the Arts Undergraduate Society (AUS) and the Science Undergraduate Society (SUS).

Information for Potential Exhibitors:

Schools can register via Science Undergraduate Society's Ticket Platform. The fee to reserve an in-person booth is $400 CAD (+ tax). Please make sure to pay Zeffy contributions at $0 if you do not wish to pay any additional fees.

We will confirm your booth by email once the above steps have been completed and will send you more details regarding the materials and program of the event in the coming months.

Registration deadline for exhibitors via the link above is Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Macdonald Campus Career Fair - January 21, 2026

Event Description:

This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your organization, while discussing career possibilities, job opportunities and potential internships with our diverse and talented undergraduate and graduate students. Macdonald Campus students come from various academic programs such as Environmental Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Food Science, Natural Resource Science, Animal Science, Dietetics, and Nutrition.

Event Description:

This career fair targets organizations that offer full-time, part-time, contract, internship, and summer opportunities for Faculty of Education students. This event provides a forum where future educators and exhibitors can network and explore career opportunities in today’s wide-ranging education field.

Social Impact & Summer Jobs Fair - February 12, 2026

For Students

Looking for an internship, summer job, or your next career step? This fair is your chance to meet employers from many industries. Open to all McGill students.

How to Participate:

  • Register online for event updates & a featured employer list:
    Student registration link
  • Drop-ins are welcome (registration recommended but not required)
  • Bring your student ID and copies of your CV/resumé
  • Prepare ahead:
    • Research attending employers
    • Practice your introduction
    • Bring questions for employers

For Employers

Connect with McGill students from all disciplines about internships and job opportunities.
Expected attendance:700+ students (undergraduate & graduate).

Registration Fees:

  • Non-profit or government: $140 + tax
  • All other organizations: $250 + tax

Fee includes a table, chairs, coffee/tea, and light lunch for two representatives.

How to Register:

  1. Sign in to your myFuture employer account
  2. On your dashboard, scroll to the bottom of the page and find the Forms section.
  3. Select the 2026-02-12 Social Impact & Summer Job Fair
  4. Complete and submit the form

Please note: Space is limited. All registrations are reviewed by the organizing committee. You’ll receive an email notifying you if your participation is approved or waitlisted.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received within two weeks of the event (after Jan 29) are subject to a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after Feb 12.
