These fellowships are among the most generous at McGill and are awarded to exceptional Master’s and PhD students from the UAE so that they can pursue advanced studies in any eligible discipline at McGill University.

Value & Duration

• Each McGill-UAE fellow will receive $70,000 each year to cover tuition and living expenses. This amount is renewable, to allow for up to two years for Master’s students, and up to 4 years for PhD students.
• There will be additional support (up to $18,000) to participate in a prestigious internship in Canada or abroad.

Eligibility

• Open to all UAE nationals (citizens) 
• The programs in the following faculties are eligible:
  • Faculty of Science
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Arts (only Economics)
  • Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
  • Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences
