TechAccel Mentor
Since 2013, The McGill Engine has worked with over 80 ventures, helping them develop their entrepreneurial skill sets and making their ideas a reality.
TechAccel grants help students jump-start and accelerate their technologically based ideas that have business or social impact potential. A large part of TechAccel grants are the mentors which advise each team helping them overcome challenges and accomplish their project goals.
Invention to Impact Mentors
Invention to Impact Program uses experiential learning to help McGill graduate students and their faculty supervisors gain insight into technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, industry requirements and challenges. It provides tools and training to support researchers to translate their research to the marketplace and have their solutions benefit society.
Guest Speaker
Engine hosts a variety of events throughout the year; John D Thompson Seminar, Entrepreneurship-in-Action Series, panel discussions, networking events, etc. We are always looking for guest speakers to participate in our many events.
WRSA Proposal Reviewer
Les bourses William-et-Rhea-Seath récompensent les personnes étudiantes exceptionnelles et les membres du corps professoral hors pair dont les idées innovantes ou les résultats de recherche liés à la technologie présentent un potentiel de commercialisation.
TechIdea Pitch Competition Judge
Dans le cadre du Séminaire de développement de compétences entrepreneuriales John-D.-Thompson, nous tenons un concours au cours duquel cinq équipes présentent à un jury leur idée technologique. Chaque année, nous avons besoin de juges de divers horizons pour commenter les présentations et sélectionner les trois meilleures équipes. General Advising & Coaching
Nous élargissons actuellement notre réseau d’experts sectoriels afin de fournir à nos jeunes entrepreneurs et à nos mentors des ressources vers qui se tourner pour obtenir des réponses à leurs questions ou des conseils dans un domaine particulier. Nos mentors mettront leurs équipes en relation avec un expert ou une experte ayant le profil recherché. Nous pourrions faire appel à vous une ou plusieurs fois par année, selon votre disponibilité.
