Donations

University Advancement (UA) staff collaborates with the faculties, schools and departments of McGill University to meet the goals of the institution. R&D Partnerships

The McGill Engine Centre out of the Faculty of Engineering connects industry with the Faculty of Engineering professors and students, concentrating on building mutually beneficial business relationships and matching companies’ R&D needs with the Faculty’s expertise and capabilities. Recruiting Students

The Faculty of Engineering through the McGill Engineering Student Centre (MESC) offers many services that allow companies to gain visibility among top engineering students, and help fill hiring needs for highly trained and talented engineers. Learn more.

Research Commercialization and Technology Transfer

The Office of Innovation and Partnerships manages the intellectual property developed at McGill University. Among their responsibilities, the team protects intellectual property through the disclosure and patenting process, negotiates technology transfer (options, licenses) agreements with industry, and markets McGill inventions to potential licensees. The McGill School of Continuing Studies’ mission is to anticipate and respond to the educational needs of our learners and partners, both domestic and international. Career and Professional Development (C&PD) has programs and courses to boost one’s career.
