WSP 2021 Info-session - Student Recruitment Associate, Elaina Klukowski, presents the details of the courses that will be offered, the details of the live remote-teaching format, along with information on our extended offering to allow students who begin this winter to complete their program in Montreal in summer 2021.

Each winter and summer term, the McGill School of Continuing Studies offers Short Programs that bring together students from around the world!

Topics such as Big Data, Business Analytics, Project Management, Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Social Media and Digital Communication are offered, all while experiencing the McGill campus and everything that Montreal has to offer. These programs traditionally consist of two courses and lead to a transcript and an attestation of completion of the program.

Due to COVID-19, we have revised our offering for the winter of 2021 by delivering courses in a live remote-teaching format. The session will run from January 18 - February 12, 2021 (4 weeks) and will offer a total of six(6) courses (“short courses”) of 30 contact hours each (7.5 hours per week) and two (2) short programs as listed below.

Classes will be held three days per week (i.e. Monday-Wednesday-Friday) for 2.5 hours per day. Instructors will offer office hours between “live” sessions for Q&As. The courses will include breaks and will focus strongly on student engagement.

Each short course offered in Winter 2021 will issue of a Record of Study (transcript) upon successful completion of the course.

Course fees: The fee for each of the Winter 2021 courses will be $1,080 CAD ($995 tuition + $85 registration fee).

Program fees: The fee for a program consisting of two (2) courses will be $2,160 CAD ($1,990 tuition + $170 registration fee)

The Summer 2021 courses will be offered from approximately July 26 to August 20, 2021.

All students who register for a course as part of our winter 2021 session will also have the option to register for the second course of the program in summer of 2021.
