Current Students Resource Centre

Welcome to the online Current Students Resource Centre at the School of Continuing Studies (SCS). This Resource Centre provides students with access to all the information they need to make their time at McGill a success.

Information in these pages is for current and newly admitted SCS students studying in a program and for independent (special) students who have already taken a course at the School. If you are not yet an SCS student but would like information on applying to one of our programs, please visit the Prospective Students site.

Current students should consult their program’s webpage to ensure they are familiar with all program requirements.

Do you know whether you are in a program? Check Minerva to see whether you are classified as an independent (special) student or are officially admitted to a program. If you are following program courses but are classified as an independent (special) student, the number of courses you can take is limited. When you apply and are admitted to the program you can take advantage of the full range of courses.

Have you checked out Ask McGill? This new interactive site gives you instant responses to your most pressing McGill questions.
