Professors Alain Pinsonneault and Animesh Animesh, and PhD candidate Hyelim Oh, have won the best paper award at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) held in Milan, Italy from December 15 to 18, 2013. The paper is entitled “Free vs. For a Fee: The Impact of Information Pricing Strategy on the Pattern and Effectiveness of Word-of-Mouth Via Social Media.” 1,249 papers which were submitted for publication consideration at the conference.
