On April 21, 2016, Principal Suzanne Fortier announced that the International Relations division of the Office of the Vice-Principal of Research and International Relations will be transitioning to the purview of the Office of the Provost. The following is an excerpt of the memo that Principal Fortier addressed to the McGill University Senate.

Professor Hélène Perrault has been appointed Associate Provost (Planning and Budgets) for a five-year term, beginning September 1, 2006, and ending on August 31, 2011. The position of Associate Provost (Planning and Budgets) encompasses responsibility for academic planning and budgets, academic personnel and planning and institutional analysis.
Appointment of McGill's Dean of Graduate and Post-Doctoral Studies and Associate Provost (Graduate Education)
At its September 6 Executive meeting, the Board of Governors approved the appointment of Dr. Martin Kreiswirth as McGill's Dean of Graduate and Post-Doctoral Studies and Associate Provost (Graduate Education), beginning on February 15, 2007, and ending on August 31, 2012.
Mercury, the official name of the McGill online course evaluation system, is replacing MOLE (its former name) throughout the Minerva login site. On June 1, look for Mercury instead of MOLE on Minerva's Student, Faculty and SR administration menus. None of the functionality has changed for this renaming.
