March 8 is International Women's Day. It is a day to celebrate the economic, cultural, social and political achievements of women and to consider what still needs to be done to advance women's rights. Please join us, and other members of the McGill community, as we honour women everywhere and work together to protect and promote women's rights and equity around the world.
(Sent on behalf of Secretariat) McGill's Spring 2007 Convocation ceremonies for the downtown campus will take place on the lower field, west of the Roddick Gates, from Monday, May 28, to Friday, June 1, inclusive. Convocation can cause some inconvenience to monthly parking permit holders, but we are certain that in view of the importance of this event everyone will understand.
The convocation ceremonies for Fall 2006 will be held November 10 at Place des Arts. There will be two ceremonies: at 9:30 am for all undergraduate students and those graduating from the Centre for Continuing Education, and at 3:30 pm for all students receiving graduate degrees.
McGill's Spring 2006 Convocation ceremonies for the downtown campus will take place on the lower field, west of the Roddick Gates, from Monday, May 29, to Thursday, June 1, inclusive; parking restrictions will be in effect for that period. Please click on "Details" for more information.

All academic and administrative units of the University shall abide by the commitments made under the McGill Environmental Policy in order to implement the principle of "rethink-reduce-reuse-recycle" in its paper usage by: Purchasing paper with greater recycled and post-consumer content, when economically feasible; Printing and copying double-sided, when appropriate; Allowing and encouraging students to submit double-sided assignments.
