You interact with business-to-consumer retailers on a regular basis.
Either online (ecommerce, banks, etc.), in-person (grocery stores, movie theaters, etc.) or in mixed-mode physical fashion (Uber, fashion stores, etc.).
But what does retail really encompass and why should you study it?
The Retail Management Concentration and Major will lead to a wide range of exciting career paths from marketing, advertising, retail analytics, and finance, to sustainability, entrepreneurship, operations, and supply chain in diverse customer-facing sectors:
- Fashion & Beauty
- Food & Grocery
- Transportation
- Financial Services
- Technology
- Entertainment & Hospitality
- Consumer Packaged Goods
- Consulting
It can be challenging to identify early on which path is right for you and which courses are most relevant.
