Ayesha Vemuri

Ayesha Vemuri is a Ph.D. candidate in Communication Studies at McGill University. Her research examines the political and social effects of flooding in Assam, India, drawing on infrastructure studies, feminist science and technology studies, and postcolonial theory. Her work has been published in Communication, Culture, and Critique, Feminist Theory, and Girlhood Studies. Ayesha is a recipient of the Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship award (2019-2022).
