The McGill Art Hive is a space located within the HLA at the Student Wellness Hub devoted to making art and community.
We offer creative experiences to foster a sense of togetherness along with individual well-being. Participation requires no art background or experience.
The Art Hive affords members of the McGill community the opportunity to step out of their daily challenges, spend time in a very different place, and to return to their work feeling more relaxed and focused.
We at the Art Hive believe it is important to be mindful of the need to disconnect from stress, and to reconnect with others.
"The [has] strengthened the presence of the arts in the Hub and at McGill. It functions as an open studio, but also as an opportunity to work with diverse McGill units, supporting teaching and learning through the arts, diverse student initiatives and creative research practices.”
