From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Mailing documents

McGill requires applicants to upload their documents via Minerva (when applicable).

If you have been asked to send official paper transcripts or if you are applying to a program that requires additional supporting paper documents to be sent by mail, please send one copy to the relevant address (below).

Do not send multiple copies of documents and do not send (or have your school send) paper versions of documents you have uploaded. Duplicate documents sent by mail will be set aside and may delay the evaluation of your application.

Official transcripts sent to McGill University become the property of the University and will not be returned or forwarded to other institutions.

Important note to applicants and school counsellors when supporting documents are required:

Please do not send any documents to McGill until after the online application has been submitted and the applicant has received their 9-digit McGill ID number. We are unable to match documents received at McGill before an application, so this practice may result in the application being declared incomplete.

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that your documents are submitted by the applicable deadline and to the appropriate admissions office.
