Note 2: PSYC 204 policy effective as of Fall 2026:
For Major students: If students have the MATH 203 exemption from CEGEP or advanced placement, they can choose to either: complete PSYC 204 and still get credit at McGill, OR go directly to PSYC 305 and replace the PSYC 204 credits with 3 credits at the 300 level or above in Psychology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physiology, or Psychiatry.
For Liberal students: If students have the MATH 203 exemption from CEGEP or advanced placement, they can choose to either: do PSYC 204 and still get credit at McGill, OR go directly to PSYC 305 and replace the credits for 204 with 3 credits at the 300 level or above in Psychology.
