Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is currently an error in the eCalendar that is in the process of being resolved, which states that the Biology prerequisite for the B.A. Major Concentration in Psychology is only BIOL 111 or 112, however, BIOL 115 is also a possible option for students completing the B.A. Major Concentration in Psychology.

For new B.A. students as of Fall 2025: Students can complete a Psychology program (and the Minor Concentration in Behavioral Science, for those completing a Major Concentration in Psychology), however they must complete at least one Faculty of Arts program - as part of their other degree/program requirements - to graduate with a B.A. degree. Please contact a Faculty Advisor in Arts OASIS for further inquiries.

New PSYC 204 policy effective as of Fall 2025: If students have the MATH 203 exemption from CEGEP or advanced placement, they can choose to either: do PSYC 204 and still get credit, OR go directly to 305 and replace the credits for 204 with 3 credits at the 300 level or above in psychology, anthropology, sociology, or linguistics.
