
Frédéric Mégret Named William Dawson Scholar
The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Professor Frédéric Mégret has been named a William Dawson Scholar at McGill University.
McGill’s William Dawson Scholar program recognizes scholars poised to become leaders in their fields and are awarded for a five-year term.
As Dean Daniel Jutras said when he shared the news, “this honour underscores the depth and the quality of Frédéric Mégret’s exceptional scientific work.”

Geneviève Saumier promoted to Full Professor

Cristina Birks and Ma’n H. Zawati named YBAM Lawyers of the Year
The Young Bar Association of Montreal (YBAM) unveiled the seven "YBAM Lawyers of 2014" at its 8th Annual Leaders of Tomorrow Gala, which was held last Friday.

Saying goodbye to Professor H. Patrick Glenn (1940-2014)
Above all, I remember his laughter and the mischievous twinkle in his eye. He would say something uniquely insightful, and immediately cover it up with a chuckle. Only later would one realize the depth of his learning, as layers upon layers of wisdom emerged from a casual conversation in the hallway.
