Professor Angela Campbell was recently appointed Associate Provost (Policies, Procedures and Equity) (APPPE). She will step into the role on September 1. The APPPE is one of two Associate Provosts assisting Provost Christopher Manfredi in top-level academic governance at McGill.

Vrinda Narain and Paul Miller promoted to Associate Professor

The Centre Crépeau publishes the « Les apparences en droit civil » collection
We are happy to announce that the latest book from the Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law, Les apparences en droit civil, has been published by Éditions Yvon Blais. This collection of seven essays is the outcome of the civil law workshop series of the same name that the Centre ran in 2012-2014.

Kirsten Anker awarded inaugural Buxbaum Prize
The Younger Comparativists Committee (YCC) of the American Society of Comparative Law has selected Professor Kirsten Anker as the inaugural recipient of the Richard M. Buxbaum Prize for Teaching in Comparative Law.

Jaye Ellis Appointed Acting Director of School of Environment
Professor Jaye Ellis has been appointed Acting Director of the McGill School of Environment (MSE) for a one-year term beginning in September 2015.
Professor Ellis, who holds a joint appointment with the MSE, teaches and conducts research in the fields of international environmental law, public international law, international legal theory and international relations. Previously, she was Associate Dean (Academic) at the Faculty from 2011 to 2014.
