Chemical Safety (myLab) module centralizes the management of WHMISâcontrolled and other hazardous chemicals, covering purchasing, inventory, and waste disposal for McGill labs. It integrates with McGill MarketPlace and MSDS online, giving users access to over 14 million SDSs through their myLab inventory login. The system supports safer research by providing first responders with critical hazard information during emergencies, improving regulatory compliance, reducing overâpurchasing and waste, enabling inventory sharing within departments, and simplifying lab cleanâups and decommissioning.

The Radiation Safety (myLab) module replaces the RAIR, RILS, and RTS systems and centralizes radioactive material management at McGill, including permits, purchasing, inventory, and waste disposal. It integrates with McGill MarketPlace and supports radioactive waste handling for MUHCâaffiliated research institutes. All McGill labs must use MarketPlace to order radioactive materials and myLab to track their use and disposal. To request access, contact the gurnam.manku [at] affiliate.mcgill.ca (Radiation Safety Officer), with your name, McGill ID, and PI. Your login uses your McGill email and password.
