McGill University's Biosafety Program provides the tools and resources necessary for a safe and healthy working environment for all staff and students working with biohazardous materials in compliance with the Human Pathogens and Toxins Act (HPTA) and Regulations (HPTR), the Health of Animals Act (HAA) and Regulations (HAR), the Plant Protection Act (PPA) and Regulations (PPR) and all other relevant laws and standards. The Biosafety Program encompasses trainings, laboratory safety inspections, use of biohazardous materials and much more!
