Market Research Intern
The market researcher will analyze the market associated with a particular Twiva service offering to see how the public will receive it. This process includes collecting information for
market segmentation and product differentiation, which can be used to adapt advertising efforts or determine which features are seen as a priority for the consumer.
Desired Profile:
• University/college education in research, business, communication, or equivalent practical experience
• Highly effective communication skills both written and spoken.
• Critical thinking/problem solving skills with demonstrated good judgement, strong attention to detail and a strong analytical mind.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic Start up environment, with a focus on flexibility to keep up with changes.
• You have the ability to work with or have knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics.
Internship Tasks
- Prepare proposals for grants and other sources of funding.
- Lead a variety of research projects at Twiva, in all levels, including gathering information and defining research objectives, setting project milestones and recommending the steps from start to finish.
- Carry out quantitative or qualitative market research on Twiva clients, customers and our products offering, while maintaining on-going communication with relevant stakeholders within the Start up.
- Design research methods such as questionnaires, focus groups, and opinion polls.
- You will lead person to person social media outreach via Direct Messaging and lead generation.
- Track social media engagement through analytics.
Expected Outputs
- Write funding proposals and present them to the Partnerships Lead
- Develop the research processes, steps and timelines to the Partnership Lead.
- Prepare the comprehensive final reports and findings from the assigned research project
- Create questionnaires, focus groups, and opinion polls that Twiva would utilize on any research project
- Collect feedback from the leads generated and present these to the supervisor
- Write comprehensive social media engagement reports after each advertising/marketing campaign and provide recommendations on ways to improve the engagement rates
