The MiCM offers a variety of hands-on workshops that cover computational medicine topics and tools.
RNA-seq Bootcamp
From October 20–24, 2025, the CDSI, in partnership with QLS-MiCM and the D2R-HeDS platform, will host an RNA-seq Bootcamp. This hands-on workshop series will equip participants with both the theoretical foundations and practical skills needed for RNA-seq data analysis.
The series will begin with an introduction to the command line, accessing publicly available RNA-seq datasets, and processing pipelines for generating count data. It will then cover the core workflows for differential gene expression and pathway enrichment analysis. Finally, participants will explore extensions of RNA-seq analysis in the context of single-cell data.
Participants may register for individual sessions of interest; however, attendance at a minimum of three sessions is required to receive bootcamp credit.
