The Faculty of Science Computational and Data Systems Initiative (CDSI) aims to incubate, catalyze, and support efforts in research, collaboration, and training that generate insight and innovation from data through computation. Leveraging expertise across a spectrum of computational and statistical areas, and throughout a diverse ecosystem of sciences, CDSI fosters multidisciplinary, data-driven efforts aimed at unraveling some of today’s most vexing mysteries and addressing many of life’s most pressing challenges.

Research
We support research collaborations that span across traditional disciplinary boundaries, advancing data-focused research in new areas and applications.

Training
We offer workshops and short courses on statistical methods, programming languages, parallel computing, and more.
