The compression of morbidity argument contests that the burden of illness can be compressed into a shorter period of time before death. In this Lunch&Learn session, Dr. Zachary Zimmer will discuss this hypothesis by examining activity-limiting pain in older adults through multistate life table methods. Ultimately, this session will contend with the question of whether we are adding more life to our years—a nod to the 1974 Lalonde Report.
This event is hosted in collaboration with the Centre on Population Dynamics.
Full details on the session will be sent to registrants via email.
