- Restrictions: This course cannot be taken under the S/U option. Departmental permission required. Students cannot be supervised by the same instructor for two 396 Science courses. Open to students in programs offered by the Faculty of Science only.
- Note: Enrolment may be limited. Students are advised to start the application process well before the start of the term and to plan for an alternative course in the case that no suitable project is available. Individual projects may be suggested each term which may have project-specific prerequisites. Students may also approach professors to devise their own projects. Some projects may be accessible to students in other disciplines. - Once you and your supervisor have completed and signed the 396 Project Approval Form, submit this undergradadvisor.acb [at] mcgill.ca (by email) and CC your supervisor(s). Registration information will be sent be after the project is approved.
- IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR SUMMER 2023, FALL 2023 AND WINTER 2024 PROJECTS:
- We do not anticipate disruptions to the 2023/2024 academic year due to COVID-19, however, we need to plan for all possibilities. It is recommended that you discuss a contingency plan with your Supervisor, so that in the hopefully unlikely event of restricted access to on-campus activities, your project can still be completed. Please include this plan in your ANAT 396 Project Approval form.

- Restriction: For students in the Honours program.
- Course opened to all Anatomy & Cell Biology students and other BSc students by special permission only.

- Required for students in the Anatomy & Cell Biology Honours program; open to other students by permission only.
- Supervisor must be affiliated with the Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology (found on Faculty, Joint Professors, Adjunct Members or Associate Members lists in the Directory).
- Once you have found a supervisor and developed a project proposal, complete the ANAT 432 Application form (found below) and email it to the ANAT 432 Course Coordinator, huy.bui [at] mcgill.ca (Dr. Huy Bui), to request permission to register (CC your supervisor(s) and the undergradadvisor.acb [at] mcgill.ca (ACB program advisor) on this email). Registration information will be sent after the project is approved.
