Find your community

There are so many opportunities to get involved in our vibrant student community! Find your support network, and learn more about the spaces and resources that are available to you here at McGill. Get involved in the Faculty through the Science Undergraduate Society, and make new friends through one of the more than 250 student-led groups on campus, like the Peel Street Cinema, the McGill Outdoors Club, and the McGill Artificial Intelligence Society.

Succeeding in your first year

We know the transition to university-level studies can be challenging, which is why you'll have the opportunity to participate in daily collaborative SciLearn study sessions with peers and instuctors and to learn neuroscience-based learning strategies to help you excel in your first-year courses.

Get involved with research

As a McGill Science student you'll have lots of opportunities to participate in research, from taking on a summer research position, to networking with professors at Soup and Science and presenting your work at the Undergraduate Poster Showcase.

Broaden your perspective

Spend the semester in Barbados, East Africa, or Panama. Can't go for a full semester? Shorter courses give you the opportunity to step outside of the classroom and undertake work in the field studying diverse subjects like paleontology, marine life, and ecology. Looking forward to developing new skills in the workplace? Earn money and gain valuable professional experience by participating in an internship.
