Cursus Med-P
Un étudiant admis à l'année préparatoire Med-P devra s’inscrire pour une année complète d’études de 30 crédits à la Faculté des sciences. Après l’achèvement réussi de cette année préparatoire et selon les critères déterminés par le comité de promotion, l’étudiant retenu pourra intégrer la première année du programme MDCM de quatre ans. La moyenne cumulative minimale exigée est de 3,5 avec une note individuelle égale ou supérieure à B pour chaque cours obligatoire et la note de passage pour tous les cours complémentaires.
À noter : Tout candidat qui ne satisfait pas à ces exigences pourra faire une demande de transfert à un programme de B. Sc. Vous pourrez soumettre une nouvelle demande d’admission au programme MDCM après avoir complété un baccalauréat. S’il vous plaît noter qu'une note de B obtenue pour tous les cours représente une moyenne cumulative de 3,0; une note de B obtenue pour les cours obligatoires et une note inférieure à B pour les cours complémentaires représentent une moyenne inférieure à 3,0.
À noter: Pour la cohorte Med-P (Outaouais), les cours sont sujets aux règlements académiques et échelles de notation propres à chaque université. Comme requis par le système de transfert inter-universitaire du Québec, le comité des promotions utilise les notes officiels en forme de lettre pour les cours de l'UQO afin de valider l'achèvement de l'année préparatoire selon les critères ci-dessus.

This course introduces the student to our modern understanding of cells and how they work. Major topics to be covered include: photosynthesis, energy metabolism and metabolic integration; plasma membrane including secretion, endocytosis and contact mediated interactions between cells; cytoskeleton including cell and organelle movement; the nervous system; hormone signaling; the cell cycle.

Examples of statistical data and the use of graphical means to summarize the data. Basic distributions arising in the natural and behavioural sciences. The logical meaning of a test of significance and a confidence interval. Tests of significance and confidence intervals in the one and two sample setting (means, variances and proportions).

A -COURS OFFERTS PAR l’UQO
Le cours de mathématiques STA1003 (équivalent au cours de McGill MATH 203 principes de statistique) est obligatoire. Les étudiants seront intégrés aux groupes de l’UQO ou pourront faire l’objet d’un seul groupe comprenant tous les étudiants du Med-P (Outaouais). L’étudiant doit également choisir quatre cours complémentaires/cours aux choix parmi ceux disponibles dans les départements et modules de l’UQO.
