From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. 16th Annual IPN Retreat

 
 
 
We’re pleased to announce that on September 27, the 16th edition of the Integrated Program in Neuroscience Annual Retreat 2024 will be held at New Residence Hall on Park Ave by the McGill campus.  Last year’s retreat was a great success and we’re looking forward to another excellent event this year.
 
 
This year we are very fortunate to have as our Invited Keynote speaker 
 
Dr. Boyden is the Y. Eva Tan Professor in Neurotechnology at MIT; Investigator, Howard Hughes Medical Institute; Professor, Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Media Arts and Sciences, and Biological Engineering; Co-Director, K. Lisa Yang Center for Bionics; Co-Director, MIT Center for Neurobiological Engineering; Member, MIT Center for Environmental Health Sciences, Computational and Systems Biology Initiative, and Koch Institute; Leader, Synthetic Neurobiology Group.
 
In addition, we will have poster sessions and plenary talks for IPN students to present their latest research, awards presentations, and tables from different organizations.
 
We will provide continental breakfast, lunch, coffee, and a cocktail party.
The IPN Retreat is free of charge for all McGill students and faculty.
