McGill's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is becoming the new Student Experience Record (SER), which will be launched in Fall 2025 in the myFuture platform. This change will enhance the way we recognize and document student learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. August 1 is the last day to submit participation/attendance lists for activities that happened before July 1, 2025. Any participant lists received after August 1 will not be processed.

Empower your job or internship search with outstanding applications. We will share tips, advice and insight to make sure your CV and cover letter tell your story and highlight your skills, experience and unique value to an employer. The 30 minute session will be followed by a brief Q&A.

The Zoom meeting link will be sent to all registrants in advance of the course start time. All confirmed attendees will receive a copy of the slides directly following the course.

By attending this course, you will be able to:

1) Understand expectations around the format and purpose of CVs and cover letters
2) Identify strategies for customizing application materials to specific jobs
3) Articulate skills and accomplishments within the CV and cover letter
