McGill's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is becoming the new Student Experience Record (SER), which will be launched in Fall 2025 in the myFuture platform. This change will enhance the way we recognize and document student learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. See more information about the SER here.

The deadline to submit CCR participation/attendance lists has passed. Activities that took place before July 1, 2025, were eligible for the CCR, but any participant lists received after August 1 will not be processed. Historical CCR data will be preserved and migrated to the SER for current students.

Monday, November 15, 2021 10:00to12:00
Intermediate Data Analysis with Excel

This 2 hour virtual workshop will provide you with intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel (2016 version). You will gain an overview of pivot tables, conditional formulas, nested formulas, and additional data analysis tools. Participants will work to complete exercises using real-world data. From this session, participants will gain intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, a more complex understanding of data analysis techniques in spreadsheet applications, and practical experience in critical approaches to thinking about data.

Some prior experience with Excel is recommended, such as completion of the Introduction to Working with Data in Excel workshop, or familiarity with basic Excel terminology (e.g. functions, formulas, sheets, cells, rows, columns, etc.) and using spreadsheets to collect, organize, or conduct basic analyses of data.
