Learn how to use APA citation style to cite your sources. Got questions about a paper you are working on right now?  Bring your questions to the workshop!

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Distinguish between different types of sources (monographs, edited volumes, chapters in edited books, journal articles, etc.) to ensure you cite them correctly
  • Create a bibliography and in-text citations using APA’s author-date format
  • Decide when to summarize or use a direct quote to make your writing more effective
  • Cite unconventional sources like podcasts, social media posts, videos, lecture notes, and more
