COVID – 19 and Travel

While McGill travel restrictions have been lifted, it is nonetheless important to consider the risks, several of which are outlined in the McGill Guidelines for travel during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Local placements/electives should be favoured where possible. All are encouraged to seriously consider the risks. The McGill Global Health Programs Office is evaluating how this new situation will affect our funding opportunities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For more information please contact the studentaffairsghp.med [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Travel%20awards) (Global Health Programs Office).

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. McGill honours recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
