CHASM Incubator, in collaboration with Global Health Programs, is pleased to invite you to a lecture with guest speaker Thomas Park, entitled “Transforming social entrepreneurship to a 21st century model”. Thomas is a McGill alum from the faculty of Law. He currently works at BDC Capital, the largest venture capital investor in the country and works closely with funds and startups to support Canadian innovation. Previously, he has over a decade of experience in the social entrepreneurship and public sector fields with McKinsey and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation across Africa and South East Asia. He sits on a number of boards including the Global Health Programs International Advisory Board and the Banff Forum, and was selected as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2017.

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. McGill honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
