Walking in Nature Against Negative Feelings
In partnership with the Douglas Research Centre, Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy (Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology) has released an inciteful video introduction to The effects of walking in nature on negative and positive affect in adult psychiatric outpatients with major depressive disorder: A randomized-controlled study. Dr. Marie-Claude Géoffroy is a Canada Research Chair in Youth Suicide Prevention.
Drs. Muis and Robinson Recognized as Top-Producing Scholars in Educational Psychology
Based on analyses of publication trends in five well-respected flagship journals, a new article in Educational Psychology Review identifies Dr. Krista Muis as one of the top-producing scholars in the field of educational psychology and Dr. Kristy A. Robinson as one of the top-producing early career scholars in educational psychology.
