Students can be accepted into the program in September (Fall Semester), January (Winter Semester), or May (Summer Semester). However, students are strongly encouraged to apply for admission in the Fall Semester. Many funding opportunities (e.g., differential fee waivers) are only available to students entering the program in the Fall and the flow of coursework is designed to begin at that time.

- Learn about opportunities for Graduate Student Funding.
- Submit an application via McGill's Admissions Platform. Please note that our graduate programs assess applicants on a continuous (rolling) basis. Any application that is completed on McGill's Admissions Platform will be available to all supervisors in our Faculty for review. It is in your best interest to complete and submit your applications early since selection to our programs is highly competitive. Please pay attention to the application deadlines for each semester of study. **If you are specifically interested in studying with a specific professor, please indicate that information in your application. This will allow your online application to be prioritized to this professor first.
Please take note that funding opportunities are limited and very competitive and cannot be guaranteed.
The application fee cannot be waived.
For any enquiries and assistance with the application, please email the graduate.dentistry [at] mcgill.ca (Administrative and Student Affairs Coordinator) or use the message window on the Admissions Platform.
