McGill offers two non-thesis graduate programs in the field of biotechnology, a Graduate Certificate, which is a short training program of 16 credits, and a more intensive Master of Science (Applied) in Biotechnology of 45 credits, which is completed in 16 months. Both programs are coordinated by the Institute of Parasitology on the Macdonald Campus of McGill University.
Our understanding of fundamental biological processes has advanced dramatically in recent decades. Harnessing of these processes has led to the booming field and industry in biotechnology.
McGill University contributes greatly to these advances and has responded to the needs for advanced training in biotechnology by the development of graduate programs.
