McGill offers a merit-based Entrance Scholarship Program and a needs-based Entrance Bursary Program to first-time university students entering a full-time undergraduate degree program.
Major entrance scholarships
The major entrance scholarships program requires a separate application in Minerva soon after you've applied for admission. The deadline for applying for a major scholarship is one week after your admission deadline. Review your submission deadline for the entrance scholarship application.
Major entrance scholarships are highly competitive. To see if you qualify, consult the minimum academic requirements page.
All students are encouraged to explore the full range of funding opportunities available to them. We also highly recommend our Frugal Scholar Money Management Program that can help you with financial planning and debt management.
