Your Student Services
Supporting wellness, finances, career, accessibility, spirituality & community
- Campus Life & Engagement
- Career Planning Service
- International Student Services
- McGill Office of Religious and Spiritual Life
- Scholarships & Student Aid
- Student Accessibility and Achievement
- Student Wellness Hub
- First Peoples’ House (under the Office of Indigenous Initiatives)
An increase in the Student Services Ancillary Fee would fund:
- Online appointment booking for the Student Wellness Hub
- Enhanced targeted health promotion
- Extended access to mental health case management
- Increased student employees as peer supporters across Student Services
- Expanded programming in transition support, community-building, mentorship, and career-readiness
- A permanent counsellor with Indigenous specialty (without displacing another counsellor)
Without an increase, this would mean:
A reduction of services and programs including:
- Higher wait times to access mental health cinicians, nurses and other service specialists
- No online apointment booking system for physical and mental health appointments
- Fewer student job opportunities in McGill Student Services
