Your Student Services

Supporting wellness, finances, career, accessibility, spirituality & community

  • Campus Life & Engagement
  • Career Planning Service
  • International Student Services
  • McGill Office of Religious and Spiritual Life
  • Scholarships & Student Aid
  • Student Accessibility and Achievement
  • Student Wellness Hub
  • First Peoples’ House (under the Office of Indigenous Initiatives)

An increase in the Student Services Ancillary Fee would fund:

  • Online appointment booking for the Student Wellness Hub
  • Enhanced targeted health promotion
  • Extended access to mental health case management
  • Increased student employees as peer supporters across Student Services
  • Expanded programming in transition support, community-building, mentorship, and career-readiness
  • A permanent counsellor with Indigenous specialty (without displacing another counsellor)

Without an increase, this would mean:

A reduction of services and programs including:

  • Higher wait times to access mental health cinicians, nurses and other service specialists
  • No online apointment booking system for physical and mental health appointments
  • Fewer student job opportunities in McGill Student Services
