Governance

The governance team at the School of Biomedical Sciences is comprised of the Associate Dean and Director of the School, the Associate Director of Administration, the Chairs of the School's constituent departments, and the Directors of the School's constituent research institutes. 

The Associate Dean and Director of the School is responsible for the oversight of all activities in the biomedical science departments including undergraduate and graduate education, research planning, resource allocation and recruitment. The Associate Director of Administration is responsible for all administrative and operational aspects of the Departments, and provides leadership, organization and direction in the development of the SBMS. Additionally, the Associate Director of Administration leads and supports the Administrative Excellence Centres' administrative teams under the SBMS, and recruits, develops and maintains the staff necessary to support departmental activities.
