Typically, courses offered through the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) do not count towards an Arts degree. However, there are some exceptions
Registering for a School of Continuing Studies course:
The School of Continuing Studies courses with subject numbers that start with C are not for credit towards your Arts degree (including for students who are incoming Exchange, Visiting or Special students in the Faculty of Arts).
To register for a course, go to the School of Continuing Studies (688 Sherbrooke St. West, 11th Floor) to make the appropriate arrangements with them and their staff will add the course to your record; however, be sure to contact Arts OASIS well in advanced of the respective add/drop deadline to verify if the Continuing Studies course is (or is not) for credit for Arts students.
NOTE: You will not be able to request credit toward your Arts degree for these courses at a later date.
