Meditation and Multi-Faith Prayer Space

  • MORSL's Meditation and Prayer Room:  Spiritual practice can look very different for different people- just another example of how we are all unique! MORSL provides space and resources for students to pursue, begin or experiment with self-directed activities such as prayer, meditation, mindful colouring, contemplative reading and journaling.  No appointment necessary, and no time limit on your practice. We also offer classes and weekly group meditation programs.  Learn more about our drop-in centre, and our dedicated meditation and prayer room.

  • In addition to MORSL's drop-in space, the university also provides various quiet spaces. They are designated to be used for spirituality, prayer, rest and reflection. They are drop-in, no appointment is needed, and the policy is first come, first served. These spaces are open and available during the associated building's regular hours. Locations are included in our map of McGill Quiet Spaces and Adjacent Prayer Spaces. Please morsl [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Update%20the%20McGill%20Quiet%20Spaces%20Map) (contact MORSL) if this map needs to be updated with a new space or other edits.

  • Off campus, MORSL maintains an extensive multifaith directory of places of worship that is available as a PDF directory and a map, organized by faith tradition. You can find a smaller selection of locations near the downtown campus on our map of McGill Quiet Spaces and Adjacent Prayer Spaces.
