Highlights

Established in 1911, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) is the territory’s oldest institute of higher learning and also an internationally recognized, research led, comprehensive university. It offers a wide spectrum of high quality programmes with an emphasis on encouraging a flexible approach to studies.

The campus is located on the beautiful north-western slopes of Hong Kong island.

Important information

• Students on exchange at the University of Hong Kong enroll in the HKU faculty that offers the majority of the courses that they are taking, and matches their area of study at McGill. Students are required to take 50% of their courses in their chosen faculty.

• Please note: Only students from McGill's Faculty of Management can enroll under HKU's Faculty of Business and Economics. Non-Management students may request to take a course offered by this faculty, but approval is at HKU's discretion.
