4 Steps to Coming to McGill on Exchange

Reinstatement of student exchanges and other international activities for the Winter 2022 semester

Earlier this month, the University cancelled incoming and outgoing student exchanges for the Winter 2022 semester, due to the Canadian Government’s Global Travel Advisory to “Avoid non-essential travel” amid ongoing COVID-19 pandemic concerns. On October 21, Global Affairs Canada lifted its worldwide travel advisory for fully vaccinated Canadians to avoid non-essential travel. With this latest news, McGill is now in a position to determine whether a reinstatement of the Winter 2022 exchanges will be possible.

McGill students who had already been accepted to participate in a Winter 2022 exchange, were contacted on October 22 by McGill Abroad with further details.
